Marie holds a degree in Social Studies and has spent 12 years working in the community sector.  Her experience in this field has provided her with a profound understanding of the social, cultural, and systemic factors that impact individuals' well-being and resilience.

As a Somatic Experiencing practitioner, Marie integrates her knowledge of social care with somatic therapy techniques to address the complex interplay between trauma, emotions, and social dynamics. Marie’s training in Somatic Experiencing allows her to guide clients in safely processing and resolving traumatic experiences stored in their bodies. She helps individuals reconnect with their innate self-regulatory capacities, allowing them to release tension, navigate overwhelming emotions, and regain a sense of safety and empowerment.
